It's abuse, dammit

Thanks to my recently completed summer class, I know that people with disabilities are infinitely more likely to be physically, sexually and emotionally abused. What oblivious European me didn't know was that physical abuse of minors (disproportionately those with disabilities) remains perfectly legal within so many state education systems in the US.
